Ms. Rivas holds a clinical license as a bicultural and dual-language social worker. She has over 13 years' experience within non-profits. She has worked with a variety of populations such as LGBTQ+, individuals with addiction issues, those who have suffered of sexual abuse and violence in intimate relationships, etc. Since the beginning of 2019 she has been working with Ms. Rivas is serving Erie's patients. Presently, she offers telehealth Behavioral Health services. Mrs. Rivas is part of the Behavioral Health Perinatal Team which focuses on postpartum and pregnant women. She is a specialist in trauma-informed care and offers an EMDR treatment for adults. She provides individual and group therapy, as well as the medication-assisted treatment program. Special care referrals can also be made. Amanda is a volunteer for Best Friends Animal Society to help homeless animals find homes. Amanda is a firm believer in Best Friends' slogan, Save Them All, and has set out to contribute in helping Los Angeles become a no kill city. Amanda is always pushing herself to reach her objectives.
